The Prime Minister of Isreal, Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that the flood of illegal migrants from Africa are worse than terrorists in the Sinai peninsula.

Just like they previously promised, Israel have arresting and expelling African migrants last week, after it detained 7 Eritreans who refused to be deported to Rwanda. To protest the deportation, inmates at the Holot prison in the Negev desert, first embarked on a hunger strike. African migrants also went out into the streets, painted their faces white, suggesting they were being sent into danger because Israel didn’t believe their black lives mattered. The current deportation plan threatens to remove thousands of Africans, many of them from Sudan and Eritrea. The government has proposed giving each migrant $3,500 to leave, with the option of going home or to a third country. If they don’t leave by end of March, migrants face indefinite incarceration. Pandemonium broke in Bethlehem today after US President Donald Trump enraged the Middle East by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Palestinians who also claim Jerusalem as their capital were incensed by this and they took to the streets to protest. Protesting Palestinians torched debris and hurled rocks towards Israeli troops who fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse a demonstration in the biblical town. Medics said 17 people have been injured by Israeli army gunfire during clashes in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip with rallies underway in the cities of Nablus, Jenin and Ramallah. In Hebron and Al-Bireh, thousands of demonstrators marched with chants of "Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine", witnesses said. The final status of Jerusalem has always been one of the most difficult and sensitive questions in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
