UEFA says its disciplinary panel has ordered the north end of the Parc des Princes to be closed. PSG have already qualified for next season’s Champions League and their next home game in the competition is likely to be in September in the group stage. The Ligue 1 leaders must also pay a €43,000 fine. PSG remain under a separate UEFA investigation for possible violations of financial fair play rules, with a decision in that case expected before June.

UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw will be conducted in Nyon on Friday. The event will be streamed live on UEFA.com from 12:00CET, with the UEFA Europa League equivalent following at 13:00CET. Juventus, Real Madrid, Roma, Sevilla, Liverpool and Manchester City have already booked their spots in the last eight of the competition. The last two will be determined on Wednesday night, after Barcelona host Chelsea and Bayern Munich travel to Besiktas. It will be an open draw, in which no teams are seeded and clubs from the same national association can be drawn against each other. The side drawn first will play the first leg at home. The first legs will be on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4th April, with the returns on April 10 and 11. The exact schedule will be confirmed in the afternoon of the draw.

Real Madrid today trashed their opponent Paris Saint-Germain 3-1. Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo handed Real Madrid a 3-1 advantage heading into the second leg of the round-of-16 Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.  The French outfit took the lead through Adrien Rabiot, but Ronaldo responded by scoring from the spot on the stroke of half-time. Both sides missed opportunities in the second half, but the addition of Marco Asensio turned the match. The winger's low cross was diverted into the path of Ronaldo, who bundled in Madrid's second goal. Asensio then teed up Marcelo to notch the third.
