Nigeria's ex-President, Olusegun Obasanjo says President Buhari and his party, APC, have in the last three years been taking “Nigerians for fools.”

Leadership of the political pressure group founded by former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, the Coalition for Nigerian Movement (CNM), has confirmed its fusion into African Democratic Congress (ADC).

On Wednesday, Primate of New Holy Messiah Church in Ilasamaja,E. O. Akeju of Lagos state announced a set of 32 prophecies wherein he stated that God revealed to him that former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will emerge as Nigeria’s next president. He also called on APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to be wary of supporting the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari if the former Lagos governor does not want an end of his political career. The prophet maintained that Buhari will be disgraced like former president Goodluck Jonathan if he goes ahead to contest the 2019 elections. Nigeria's former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Tuesday met behind closed doors with National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Chief Olu Falae at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Daily post. Falae has been visiting stakeholders in Nigeria ahead of the 2019 general election. He arrived Obasanjo’s penthouse around 12pm and went straight to the meeting. Nigeria's former President Olusegun Obasanjo recently clocked 81 with congratulatory messages coming from well-wishers and critics alike. Among those who sent their goodwill were former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Senate President, David Mark, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, former Deputy Governor Iyiola Omisore of Osun State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Nigeria's President ,Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to host the Council of State on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Punch reports that, the President, for the third time, will be hosting the meeting of the council that has all living former Presidents and Heads of Government as members since he assumed office in 2015. Nigeria's Nobel laureate, professor Wole Soyinka says he should be examined by a psychiatrist should he ever join the Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM) led by ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo. Speaking in an interview with BBC Yoruba, Soyinka said the Obasanjo led coalition is not meant for someone like him.  “Me? Obasanjo would establish a group and I will become a member of such group?
