Pastor Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG,  has fired back at critics.

A Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG pastor, Jamiu Ishola Kolawole has been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for stealing the sum of N9m from his tenant, Dr. Emeka Ugwunze, in Lagos.

A  member of RCCG has petition Pastor Adeboye, calls for VP Yemi Osinbajo's removal as  pastor of the church. The Redeemed Christian Curch of God RCCG member says he will be petitioning the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor E.A Adeboye for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to be removed as a pastor in the church, saying the Vice President has become an embarrassment to the church and Christians in Nigeria. According to the twitter user, the APC used Osinbajo to gather votes from Christians in 2015 and have since abandoned Christians. He accused Osinbajo of being quiet despite all the attacks carried out against Christians and churches. see his tweets below..

Just when we thought we've heard enough then amother surfaces. A Pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) ,Mike Nwanegbo has defended general overseer Enoch A Adeboye who said anyone who doesn’t pay tithe would not enter heaven. Nwanegbo, did not only stop there but reveal that his friend’s wife was in a vision where she was barred from entering heaven because she wasn’t a tither. He criticised unconventional and controversial pastor Sunday Adelaja for faulting Adeboye’s “tithe for heaven” conclusion. Watch the video below...

Last week,the General overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God told pastors during a retreat that those who do not pay tithe were not going to make heaven. Well, his church member with the Twitter handle@VillageParrot who identifies as a member of RCCG has boldly slammed the tithe message preached by his pastor .  He called the popular clergyman a fraud for saying people who don't pay tithe will end up in hell.  Read his tweets below. 

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christiam Church Of God has declared that whoever does not pay tith will not make heaven while preaching at a pastors retreat a while back. He said, ''Anyone who is not paying his tithe is not going to heaven'' the clergyman said. He spoke at the April edition of the monthly Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption Camp, along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway. The cleric said those who still have doubts about tithes should heed his statement. He advised pastors of the church in attendance to warn their parishioners about the danger of ignoring thithing. “I want to give every one of you pastors an opportunity to repent tonight. “And then to go back, immediately after this convention, to restitute your ways with your congregation. “Make it clear to them…Anyone who is not paying his tithe is not going to heaven, full stop”, he said.  General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Adeboye, has called for an end to the killing in Benue State and other parts of the country by suspected herdsmen.

Officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency, (LASBCA), have sealed the zonal headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), under construction in Ajegunle, a hotel in Ikeja and 6 other buildings over illegal development of structures and for breaking government seal. . The operation was led by the General Manager, LASBCA, Engr. Olalekan Shodeinde. Officials of the Lagos State Task Force were on ground to provide security and arrest culprits during the enforcement exercise on Saturday. . Shodeinde told journalists in Lagos that all properties sealed had been sealed up to four times in the past, but that their owners always broke government’s seal to continue their illegal development. More than 11 workers found at the site when LASBCA officials visited were arrested and arraigned at the mobile court, which sat in Ebute Meta area of Lagos at the weekend. They were sent to jail for not being able to perfect their bail conditions after their trial.

 Redeemed Christian Church Of God General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye,was previously featured in a viral video where he was asking members to donate one billion Naira for church project and a lot of critiques didn't find it funny as the issue of tithes in churches was yet to die. Daddy Freeze and others has fired shots at the man of God and the latest to slam him is beauty entrepreneur Dencia, who cursed him and she didn't mince any words slamming the man of God. Daddy Freeze had also criticized the demand stating that the church had enough structures and funds should be utilized for the creation of social amenities in the country. In reaction to Daddy Freeze post, Dencia, who is known for being  controversial on issues, dropped a comment which many tagged as the most nasty ever on his page saying the devil will punish Pastor Adeboye.
