Prof. Nicodemus Ochani Agbulu today was appointment as the Deputy  Vice Chancellor Academics (DVC), Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi. Professor Agbulu, before his appointment, has held several positions including but not limited to: Deputy Dean of Postgraduate School, Dean, College of Science Education, 4 times Head, Department of Agricultural Education, UAM Governing Council Member, representing Senate, Etcetera.

Professor Richard Anande Kimbir has been appointed the vice chancellor Federal University Agriculture Makurdi to succeed Prof Emmanuel Iornumbe kucha. Prof.kimbir , who hails from Mbagena kpav, Shitile Katsina ala local government of Benue State was Born on the 10 February, 1958 in Tse-Kimbir. Prof Richard kimbir, stated his primary Education  at R.C.M. Primary School, Angough (1966), St. Michael’s Secondary School, Aliade (WASC/1977), University of Jos, Jos (B. Sc. Hons. Mathematics/1982), University of Jos, Jos (M. Sc. Mathematics/1987, University of Ibadan (Ph.D Mathematics/1997). Graduated with first class in both first and second degree. He is probably the first professor of mathematical modelling in the entire northern Nigeria. He picked up appointment as a Graduate Assistant with the University of Technology, Makurdi in December 1983 which has metamorphosed to the present Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi and rose through the ranks.
