The Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has reportedly appointed a former senator, Abubakar Danladi as his Special Adviser on Special Duties. 

Nasarawa West Senator in the National Assembly, Abdullahi Adamu has spoken on the reported N70 million belonging to the Northern Senators Forum, NSF, allegedly swallowed by monkey. Speaking in an interview with Daily Trust, the senator said the allegation was made to give him a bad name following his position on the electoral act amendment bill. According to him, “In order to give a dog a bad name, they now went to say that they had N70m that I mismanaged or whatever. No fewer than Seven persons were killed by unkown  gunmen in Kadarko, Area of Nasarawa State. Mr Kennedy Idirisu, spokesperson for the Nasarawa State Police Command, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, said the victims were killed by gunmen that invaded the village on Monday shooting sporadically at people. According to a source who reached out  to queendoosh, he claimed to be at the scene were the incident occurred but was lucky to be alive because he did not run when others scampered for safety. The Governor of  Nasarawa state, Tanko Al-Makura has in recent interview disclosed that over 80% of teachers in the state are unqualified for the profession but they wont be sacked. 

At least, seventy three cows were killed while 18 more were injured in an early morning attack on Yamadaga village, Kadarko community in Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State by suspected cattle rustlers.  

Nassarawa state government has placed a one-month suspension on three teachers of the Government Science Secondary School Nasarawa-Eggon caught on camera seriously flogging their students for late resumption. 

 The Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom has apologized to the Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura over comment he made accusing him of harbouring herdsmen that attacked Benue state on new year's day killing scores. Ortom said:  “Let me use this platform to apologize to my colleague in Nasarawa state over the statement I made it was due to the situation at hand then, I should not have made the information public rather it should have been a private discussion between us, I will try and see him .” He also accepted Lalong’s apologies for his own remark about Benue state.

A 20 year old housewife , Aisha Isah , has been arrested by the police for allegedly throwing her two stepdaughters , Zainab 4 , and Baaba 2 , into a well over a disagreement with their mother.

The executive council of the Nasarawa State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has impeached its embattled chairman, Abdullahi Adeka.

The Nassarawa State Governor, Tanko Almakura, is said to have ordered the demolition of a private Radio Station, Breeze FM 99.9 in Lafia which he commissioned a month ago, after workers threatened to go on strike over their unpaid salaries.

Nasarawa state chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC,has commenced an indefinite strike this morning  following  the state  government’s inability to meet their demands. The workers had earlier given the state government up till May11, 2017 to meet their demands or face an industrial action.
