Plateau State governor,Simon Lalong  on Saturday said that past leaders who stole public funds will vomit it.

Plateau killings in communities have continued unabated as 8 people were said have been killed by suspected herdsmen in Nding loh, Fan District of Barkin Ladi LGA, of the State. DAILY POST gathered that it occurred Sunday evening at a relaxation centre within the entrance of the community. According to a resident of the area, Mr. Barnabas Rwang, the attackers took advantage of the open relaxation spot and opened fire on the victims. It was also gathered that the community had been under threat of attack in recent times. just yesterday, six people were reported dead, while this morning another two died.  Spokesman of the Plateau Police Command, ASP Mathias Tyopev Terna, confirmed the incident. He, however, said 5 persons died immediately after the incident and that 2 out of the 3 victims taken to the Plateau Specialist Hospital, Jos, also died.

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, in Plateau State has alleged that soldiers have killed 5 of their members and burnt down over 150 houses.

New report claims that at least ,25 persons have been killed in fresh Attack  by suspected herdsmen on Monday night in Plateau state. The incident occurred in Dundu village, Kwall District in Bassa Local Government Area of the state. Channels TV, gathered that 19 men, three women and three children were killed during the attack. This is coming days after 23 people were buried over the weekend while over 2, 000 others have been displaced following recent attack in Josho community of Daffo District, in Bokkos LGA of Plateau State.

In order to welcome the president who has been going round troubled states. The Plateau government has declared Thursday a work-free day to enable residents welcome President Muhammadu Buhari on a one-day working visit to the state. This was contain in a statement released by the state's Head of Service, Izam Azi,who said the holiday will afford residents of the state to troop out enmass to welcome President Buhari. “The holiday will afford civil servants and other citizens the opportunity to give the President a rousing welcome,” Mr. Azi said. Meanwhile, Yakubu Dati, Commissioner for Information and Communication, has said there would be restriction of movement during the visit, especially around areas the president would inaugurate projects. Dati added that alternative routes have been provided for free vehicular movement.

No fewer than 20 people have been reported killed and 300 cows stolen following a fresh outbreak of ethnic violence on the Mambilla Plateau in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, local officials and residents confirm. A fleeing resident, Saadu Mogoggo, who said his house was attacked at Leme suburb of Gembu, said two of his brothers were killed on Saturday evening and their cattle rustled by a group he identified as the Mambilla Militia.  “As I am talking to you, we are yet to bury their corpses,” he said to PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday. ‘’The ethnic militias attacked our residence in Leme where they killed our father last month. During this attack, the Mambillas took away our over 100 cows. My two younger brothers reported the matter to a nearby military base and a soldier was attached as escort to retrieve the stolen cows.
