Tennis super star, Serena Williams reveals what she went through after birth of her daughter, Alexis Olympia. The 36-year-old said her daughter was born by an emergency C-section on Sept. 1 after Olympia's heart rate plummeted during contractions.  The surgery went smoothly, Serena said on CNN.com ... "But what followed just 24 hours after giving birth were six days of uncertainty." Williams says she suffered a pulmonary embolism -- which is when a blood clot blocks one or more arteries in her lungs.  TMZ says , Serena contacted medical professionals -- but the coughing from the embolism got so bad, her C-section wound popped open and she required another surgery.  "The doctors found a large hematoma, a swelling of clotted blood, in my abdomen. And then I returned to the operating room for a procedure that prevents clots from traveling to my lungs." Earlier this week, Tennis star, Serena Williams’ multimillionaire husband, Alexis Ohanian, was spotted baby-sitting their new born daughter, Alexis Jr as the mum resumes playing. On Sunday at the Fed Cup in Asheville, North Carolina, Serena finally returned to official action for the first time since Alexis Jr. was born. The game didn’t exactly go as planned on the court (Serena and Venus lost their doubles match in straight sets) — but the crowd loved her … and Alexis Sr. proved he’s got the the parent thing on lock! Tennis super star, Serena Williamsand her man,Alexis Ohanian got married on Thursday and Vogue Magazine has released official photos from the lavish event which held in New Orleans.The wedding had a French ball–themed, Beauty and the Beast–style decor, complete with a gold arch of flowers at the end of the aisle, long tables covered in lamé fabric, and more to entertain their celebrity friends and of course, family. Their daughter was taken down the aisle by her maternal grandmother. It was spectacular.  More photos below...
