The Nigeria's former President, Olusegun Obasanjo today visited Benue state where he also visited cemetery of where 73-persons killed by Fulani herdsmen were buried.  Meanwhile, some Nigerians who are saying the Benue state governor is busy politicising killings and others also trolled the former president on how he has suddenly become a friend Benue state.  More photos... The Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom today officially announced  President Muhammadu Buhari's visit to Benue State on Monday, 12th March, 2018. The Governor through his Special Adviser on Media and ICT, Tahav Agerzua stated that during the visit the President shall pay a courtesy call on the Chairman of the Benue State Council of Chiefs, Tor Tiv the fifth, Professor James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse, and hold a meeting with major stakeholders at the Benue Peoples House. Governor Ortom says President Muhammadu Buhari shall also visit one of the eight displaced persons' camps in the state. Recalled, the Governor through his Chief Press Secretary stated that the President was the owner of the Nigeria and was free to visit any part of the country if he so wishes.
