170 People Caged In Enugu state For Sanitation Violation (Photos)
The Enugu State Waste Management Authority ESWAMA has changed motor parks and transport operators in the state to carry out routine cleaning exercise in their parks to ensure a safer environment. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, ESWAMA, Mrs Amaka Anajemba gave the charge on Saturday while monitoring the level of compliance during this month environmental sanitation exercise. Mrs. Anajemba who expressed dissatisfaction with the poor sanitary condition of major parks in the state encouraged residents to support the state government’s commitment towards making Enugu one of the cleanest states in the country. She said the agency will continue to put measures in place to ensure efficient waste management. Members of the national youth service corp fully participated in the exercise.
