At last, President Donald Trump has announced his meeting with North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un will hold on June 12th. Trump took to twitter and wrote; "The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th. The summit, which has been in the works since Trump accepted Kim's invitation to meet in March, will be the first ever meeting between a sitting US president and North Korean leader.

The funeral ceremony for the former Republican Presidential candidate would be held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.   A stream of politicians, including former Vice President Joe Biden and former Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, have been visiting McCain at his Arizona ranch and a nearby hospital in recent weeks. In retaliation to Western countries maltreatment against Russian deplomates. President Putin has just kicked out 150 Western diplomats with 60 of the affected ones been from the United States. Recalled that the Trump administration and its allies around the world expelled hundreds of Russian diplomats earlier this week after a former double agent was poisoned in the UK by operatives thought to be working for the Kremlin. Now Russia is striking back in same way by doing same, Vox news reports. On Thursday, the Kremlin said it would expel 150 Western diplomats — including 60 American officials — and close the US Consulate in St. Petersburg. US Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired FBI’s Deputy Director Andrew McCabe on Friday, prompting an immediate rebuke from McCabe who said he is facing political retaliation by President Donald Trump.

At least five passengers have bee reported dead after an helicopter went down in the East River near Manhattan, New York on Sunday evening. The helicopter pilot who managed to escape Sunday's plunge into New York City's East River made a chilling and frantic distress call before the crash, which left all five of his passengers dead. "Mayday . . . Mayday . . . Mayday . . . East River engine failure," the pilot called out over his radio seconds before going down. The pilot, whose name has not been released, managed to survive by climbing onto a raft, but the passengers, who were part of a tour operated by  New Jersey-based Fly Liberty Charter, all died. Police said the pilot freed himself and was rescued by a passing tugboat. Authorities were quickly on the scene after the helicopter went down. Yesterday, 14th February, a former student open gunfire in a Florida high school on Wednesday, killing at least 17 adults and children, CNN reports. Florida Gov. Rick Scott ordered government flags flown at half-staff through Monday in honor of victims of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, a public school of some 3,000 students outside Boca Raton. The school is closed for the rest of the week, Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie said. The district will offer grief counseling to students and their families. "This has been a day where we've seen the worst of humanity. Tomorrow is gonna bring out the best in humanity as we come together to move forward from this unspeakable tragedy," he said. Tragedy has struck again in US as a gunman with an assault rifle stormed a church in rural Texas on Sunday, killing at least 26 worshippers and wounding 20 others in a rampage to be notched into a litany of mass shootings that have plagued the United States in recent years. The lone suspect, dressed in black tactical gear and a ballistic vest, drove up to the white-steepled First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs during Sunday morning services and started firing inside.
