The Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai has revealed that the Local government election which is to hold in the state will be done electronically and the state makes history becoming the first to use the voting system. 

The feud between this two Kaduna political giants seem to be getting worst by the day as Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district has called for clinical examination of the mental state of Kaduna governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

President, Southern Kaduna Peopples’ Union, SOKAPU, Barr. Solomon Musa, has called for the arrest and prosecution of Kaduna State Governor, Mal. Nasir el-Rufai over alleged hate speech.

The Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has revealed how some of the teachers that passed the competency test organised by the state government, brought in people to write the test on their behalf. The governor on his official Facebook page, governor El-Rufai said the discovery was made when the teachers that ''passed' were asked to write an acceptance letter. ''Some of the new teachers we tried to recruit tried to game the system. We gave those that passed letters of appointments and a plain sheet of paper to write a simple letter of acceptance. Kaduna State Government has increased the salary of public school teachers by 32.5 per cent.

Kaduna state governor,Nasir El-rufai has said he was not desperate about his re-election. 

Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ordered Kaduna State Governor, El-rufai to pay the sum of N40m to the President of Chocolate City Group, Audu Maikori, as compensation for his unlawful arrest. The court also awarded N10m exemplary damages, with 10% interest in favour of Audu Maikori Delivering judgement in the fundamental human rights enforcement suit filed by Maikori on May 5, 2017, Justice John Tsoho ordered the four respondents including, Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, and the police to pay the damages to the applicant. The other respondents to the suit are the Inspector-General of Police and the Attorney-General of Kaduna State. The court also held that civic space should not be constricted and Governor of Kaduna cannot arrest Audu for lawful advocacy Maikori according to the ruling was said to have been unlawfully detained between February 17 and 18, 2017 and again March 10 and 13, 2017. The Kaduna state governor , El Rufai said during a meeting with APC members in Kaduna state on Saturday, September 16th that he fought with Musa Yar'adua and he ended up in his grave. 

President Muhammadu Buhari visited Kaduna State where he commissioned an integrated Feed Mill and Poultry in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. He was received by the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai. The integrated feed mill and poultry was constructed at $150 million Olam International, a worldwide agri-business firm.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai has clearly stated that he doesn't care whether or not he is re-elected into office come 2019.  The governor made this pronouncement when he received the new head of DFIDNigeria, Debbie Palmer, at his office in Kaduna earlier today.  "I don’t care whether or not I’m re-elected, the only thing I’m concerned about is doing what is right. Everyone wants to do what we are doing in Kaduna but are afraid of doing so because of political calculations but I’m committed to doing what is right for the benefit of our unborn generations in Kaduna" he said

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja in the case of Audu Adamu Maikori VS  The IGP has issued an interim order restraining the Governor of Kaduna State and any other authority from arresting or detaining Audu Maikori pending the hearing and determination of the human rights violation suit brought before it. 

Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-rufai on Tuesday met with the Igbo Delegate Assembly, comprising of Igbo Community Leaders from the 19 Northern States  in Kaduna.

A group of nothern group who previously ordered Igbo people out of the northern part of Nigeria are currently in a meeting.

The governor El Rufai led administration  on Tuesday published its 2016 audited accounts. The accounts were published in national newspapers, as well as on the state website, www.kdsg.gov.ng, Samuel Aruwan, the Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity to Governor Nasir El-Rufai, said in a statement. Mr. Aruwan said, “The Audited Accounts show that during the year under review, the combined revenue of Government grew from N65 billion in 2015 to N74 billion in 2016 representing an increase of 13%.  Federal Allocation (Statutory and VAT Allocation) plummeted by 1.8% from N51.7 billion in 2015 to N50.8 billion in 2016. “In the period under review, the state strengthened its capacity to raise revenues. As a result, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) spiked by 69.8%, from N13.6 billion in 2015 to N23 billion in 2016.  In absolute terms, the aggregate decline in Federal Allocation (N0.94 billion) is ten percent of the growth in IGR (N9.5 billion).
