Outspoken Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, believes that the Muhammadu Buhari administration can get rid of corruption in Nigeria in six months if there are appropriate sanctions for offenders and if the media monitors corruption cases aptly. 

Former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has debunked reports attributed to her in regards to how lack of political will of Goodluck Jonathan's administration negatively affected the country's savings. Below is a statement issued on Friday by her Media Adviser, Paul Nwabuikwu:

The re have been so many backlashes ever since the group MAFO (Movement Against Fulani Occupation ) came out to stage a protest against the continuous killings been perpetrated by the fulani herdsmen in Benue State.
