S*x Scandal: Spotify removes all R. Kelly's songs from its playlists
This must be a trying timefor R&B Music star as streaming service Spotify is said to have removed all R Kelly's songs from its own playlists amid s*xual assault allegations. R. Kelly's songs can still be streamed on Spotify, and users can add them to their playlists, but they no longer feature in Spotify’s own mood-based playlists, nor their branded playlists. The move by Spotify is part of a new content policy being rolled out by the company, which will no longer promote what they describe as “hateful conduct”. Spotify wrote in a statement: "We don’t censor content because of an artist’s or creator’s behavior, but we want our editorial decisions – what we choose to program – to reflect our values. “When an artist or creator does something that is especially harmful or hateful, it may affect the ways we work with or support that artist or creator.” Spotify cited .. “hatred or violence” based on “race, religion, gender identity, sex, ethnicity, nationa...
