A Former Kano state governor, Ibrahim Shekarau, has expressed hope that Rabi’u Kwankwaso, also a former Governor of the state, would return to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ebonyi state chapter of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday, won all the 13 Chairmanship and 171 Councilorship positions in the Local Government Election by the State Independent Electoral Commission.

Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt, Thursday, declared Ali Sheriff the authentic National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Earlier today, the court of Appeal ruled that Modu Sherrif was the authentic chairman of the major opposition party PDP. The rulling obviously did not seat well with the party, as some members of the Peoples Democratic Party have taken to social media to register their displeasure over the outcome.

Governor David Umahi yesterday endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari, saying Ebonyi people will vote for him in the event he opts for a second term.
