BREAKING NEWS: Governor Ortom's New Appointments Portfolios Revealed




Following reports that Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom will this week announce more appointments, the portfolios of those who are thought to make the list has emerged.
BENUE.COM.NG sources around the governor revealed that new blood to be injected in Ortom’s administration are carefully selected based on track records and antecedents.

The list as gathered includes Mrs. Mimi Orubibi will serve as Chairman of Benue Internal Revenue Services (BIRS), Mr. Nathaniel Ikyur who will serve as General Manager of Benue State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (BERWASA) and Mr. Kwaghngu Abrahams will be the Senior Special Assistant on Internal/Domestic Matters.
The source added that, others learnt are; Mr. Iorliam Shija who will serve as Senior Special Assistant on (ICT) while Mr. Daniel Gbabo will serve as the Senior Special Assistant on (Media), Mr. Dan Nyikwagh will serve as Deputy Principal Private Secretary (DPPS) or Assistant on Student Affairs while Mr. Odeh Enyi is said to be penciled down to serve as Senior Special Assistant on Strategy/Feedback and Ede Abu will serve as head of Benue State Environmental and Sanitation Agency.
The source also informed that Mrs. Orubibi will bring her experience as a tax collector at the federal level to bear on the state and Mr. Ikyur will improve on the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation considering his vast knowledge while Mr. Abrahams who close tie with the governor will make him function credibly when confirmed.
It further noted that Mr. Shija and Mr. Gbabo who are erudite Journalists from Nigerian Peoples Post and PUNCH Newspapers respectively will help Mr. Tahav Agerzua who is the Media Adviser on Media and ICT to boast the governor’s image when brought on board.
Apart from Mrs. Orubibi, Mr. Ikyur And Mr. Gbabo who are from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Bayero University Kano and University of Mkar respectively the rest of the names are from Benue State University, Makurdi.
