Does Franc Utoo Deserve An Attention Now?
Yes Frank Utoo does. He rose from being a vibrant student unionist to a national cum international activist.
Like Obama, Utoo's rhetoric stands unparalleled and he is well schooled to deserve our attention.
He must also give some of us who have followed him carefully his attention. We might have a message for him after all.
He spoke today in a cryptic tongue, but his a message to my Benue friends was a clear vote of no confidence on the 7 months Change process in Benue State.
Most of what he said can make a lot of sense to a section of the group, but not to me. Not necessarily because what he said was a lie.
Utoo, the Benue change process didn't start in 2014.Before then, what was your stand on issues? What were your positions when Akume and after him, Suswam plundered that state?
You couldn't speak because you were benefitting from the same process? As we raised observation to high heavens in 2011 that Suswam was destroying the future of the state, what was your counterpart input, you came out with a forceful voice that he should be Voted In A gain, VISA.
I think I know your anger. You thought you had won an election, but the powers favoured another person. The earlier you speak from this parochial angle, the better for you to be understood than the dragnet approach you have attempted.
You left your people when they needed you, stay sober with that historical reality in mind as you pursue your mandate in court.
That said, after 7 months , it is true that many have not seen the change they voted for, but I think it is still early to think ours is hopeless case.
Ortom is only taking time to fix the rot you endorsed most of the time in the past. BTW, he too like you, just came to change.
