BENUE SOUTH RE-RUN: PDP goes spiritual to prevent members from decamping to APC [SEE PHOTOS]
As days edge closer to the senatorial rerun in Benue South, the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ), in Benue state may have resorted to spiritual means in a bid to ensure minimal decamping of their members.
The party which has lost many big wigs in the last weeks including Former Deputy Governor, Steven Lawani, Ministers including Former Minister of state for Niger Delta, Sam Ode and a host of others, may have decided to include traditional oath taking to ensure its members do not leave the party.
The okija shrine saga style was enacted recently during the decamping ceremony of members of the APC to PDP in Edikwu Icho Apa LGA of Benue State.
According to benuepost.blogspot.com, the ceremony witnessed the alleged decampees dressed in masquarade regalia donning the PDP colours after taking oath of allegiance.
