PDP YOUTHS TO AHMED GULLAK: We won’t patronize any act of impunity & disregard to the partys constitution

PDP youths disagreed with Ahmed Gulak warned him against Impunity 
The Youth group affiliated to the office of the Pdp National Youth Leader dissociated self from Ahmed Gulak self declaration .
The decision was unanimously reached after brief meeting held in the party secretariat.  Wadata plaza Abuja the group described the self declaration of the Ahmed Gulak as shameful , disrespect for the party constituted authorities and outright demonstration of impunity and over ambitiousness   
The PDP youths while affirming their support for the presence NWC asked Gulak to support the Party mechanism to ensure free and credible convention comes in March 2016 .


Group express disappointment in the action of the Ahmed Gulak which is not enjoying the backing of the North East leadership of the party, in as much as we respect him as a senior citizen and leader in our party, we wont patronize any act of impunity and disregard to the party constitution. We hereby advise him to denounce his declaration and work with the present leadership who are putting all modalities to replace all National Officials whose tenure will soon expire. And the right place for such changes should be the PDP National Convection. We are hopeful that the new leadership will reposition the Party ahead of 2019 general when Nigerians will give power back to the PDP and free us from this APC inept government who has turn its Promise of Change slogan to Change of Promise.

Finally, We stand by our party and its aspiration and resist any form of imposition whereby an individual will hold a press conference and declare himself a Party Chairman. 
The implication of this action is that anybody else from the Northeast can as well declared himself the Party Chairman  which will definitely set in a very bad precedent this should be discouraged no condemned in totality.

Senate Indicts Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Over Loss of N1.6tr Revenue

Nigeria's imediate past minister of Finance ,Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been indicted by the Nigerian senate over a N1.7t loss in revenue. According to the Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Alleged Misuse, Under-Remittance and Other Fraudulent Activities, revenue agencies short-changed the Federal Government to the tune of N1.7tn as unremitted revenue generated between 2012 and 2016. The panel blamed it on a memo by a former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who allegedly issued the memo to the agencies to remit 25 per cent of revenue they generated to the Federal Government and spend 75 per cent on their expenditures. An interim report by the committee chaired by Senator Olamilekan Adeola, details this. The panel said the amount to be remitted to the Federal Government during the period by 93 agencies it investigated was N21.5tn. It alleged that 25 of the 93 agencies covered defrauded the government of a total of N1,695,585,887,406.
