BREAKING: Benue State Governor Dissolves Local Government Carretaker Chairmen

The Governor of Benue State, Dr Samuel Ortom has sacked all 23 Local government caretaker Chairmen in Benue State with effect from tomorrow. The announcement was issued by the State's Commissioner for Information, Mr Odey Ageh.
 
He, however, advised all chairpersons to handover all government properties to their various DGSAs including their official cars.

Local Government polls are expected to be held in September .
