Governor Wike Suspends Four Commissioners, Head of Service Indefinitely [SEE NAMES OF PERSONS]
Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers on Wednesday suspended four commissioners,
Head of Service and Special Adviser on Lands for three months.
Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, announced this in a statement in Port Harcourt.
The governor did not state the reason for the suspension.
The affected commissioners are John Bazia, Chieftaincy Affairs; Tonye Briggs-Oniyide; Culture and Tourism; Fred Kpakol; Finance; and Boma Iyaye; Sports.
He said the Head of Service, Rufus Godwin and Anugbun Onuoha, Special Adviser on Lands were also affected by the suspension.(NAN)
