OF TERFA LORD JIRGBA: A Tale Of Thief, Police And Lawyer: The Trinity Of Liars
I am reading that a lawyer to the Benue-government-pardoned militant, Gana, is an accomplice to the run-away militant. I am also reading that bags of Indian hemp were discovered in the militant's house when it was demolished by the security men recently.
I am equally reading that part of the money the wanted man collected as ransom for a kidnapped victim was found in the house. In another development, I am reading that the wanted militant rustled 3000 cattle. Everything was found in the house except cattle and human creatures. Police sha! In all these, the police is the reporter, accuser, the prosecutor, the witnesses and the judge in their case.
How can you pardon a criminal whose guilt is not tested in court? At
what point did the government or police discovered that the lawyer was
an accomplice--and not a lawyer to the accused? The thief, the police
and the lawyer are in a conjugal trinity since time immemorial. A thief
steals your thing. The police arrest him. The lawyer goes to defend him.
The thief lies, the police cook his books to have him detained and the
lawyer comes to the rescue. When you pass a checkpoint and refuse to
give police roja, they plant an incriminating substance into you bag and
turn round to accuse you of possession of illegal substance. A man
comes to a checkpoint with a human head, drops 50 naira for the police,
they wave frantically at him and pick their money. Police and police jam
for a woman, na there you go say you need to run for your life when
you, a bloody civilian, and a policeman are dating the same girl.
Now look at these:
