FEC Approves 2017 Nigeria's Budget

The Federal Executive Council has approved the 2017 budget. The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udo Udoma, disclosed this to State House correspondents at the end of the meeting that lasted about six hours; PUNCH reports.

Details of the budget are yet to be made public although President Buhari is expected to make a presentation before the National Assembly this week.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met behind closed doors with the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN ) The meeting, which lasted about an hour, took place inside the President’s office shortly after Buhari and some government officials had observed the Jumat prayers in a mosque located inside the Presidential Villa , Abuja.
