Latest Update From Benue State University: Academic Calendar Reversed, Matric & Exam Date Announced
The 269th (Emergency) meeting of Senate held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 considered and approved the 2016/2017 Revised Academic Calendar for regular undergraduate programmes and some aspects of the Sandwich Programme.
Details of the Calendar shows that students resumed for normal academic activities on Monday, July 24, 2017. Matriculation of Fresh Students holds on Monday, August 14, 2017 while Continuous Assessment/Lectures are scheduled to hold from Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18, 2017.
The Revised Calendar further shows that lectures commenced Wednesday, July 26th and will terminate on Saturday, August 26, 2017. The First Semester Examination: GST/EPS Courses are scheduled for Monday, August 28 to Wednesday, August 30, 2017 while other undergraduate courses/Postgraduate Examinations will take place between August 31 and September 21, 2017.
In view of this, newly admitted students into undergraduate programmes for the 2016/2017 Academic Session are enjoined to complete all registration processes before the Matriculation while students who are yet to pay their school levies are requested to pay before the commencement of the First Semester Examination.
