Governor Yahaya Bello Donates Over 10 Million Naira To Benue, Taraba Corps Members

Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello recently donated the sum of N10,805,000.00 to 2,161 Corps members deployed to Benue and Taraba states.

 Announcing the donation in a goodwill message at NYSC Camp, Asaya, Kogi state during the closing ceremony of the 2017 Batch 'B' stream II orientation course, the governor said, the money was meant to augment the Corps members' transportation to their states of service.

 He said "on behalf of the government and good people of Kogi state, I am pleased to announce to you that we are giving each of you N5,000.00 to augment your transportation from here to your destinations of service."

 The youngest Nigerian governor in the present dispensation also implored the Corps members to build on the legacies of their predecessors by contributing to national unity, integration and all round development.

 He further charged the Corps members to keep a distance from politicians who may lure them into crime for selfish interests.
