"You ANIMALS ”.. Buhari's Aide Refers To Those Writing Negative Comments Against Naomi Campbell Over Photos With President.

President Muhammadu Buhari's Special Assistant on Digital/New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, has described those Nigerians  ‘slandering Naomi Campbell’ over photos with the President as Animals.

 Recalled, Miss Naomi,had shared a tweet alongside several photos with Buhari at the Eko Atlantic City launch and immediately the pictures generated alot of buzz on social media with some insinuating gov.Ambode had brought a babe for the president who was on a visit in the state.

 In Reacting to the controversies which trailed the images. The Presidential aide recalled that Naomi had met late ex-South African President, Nelson Mandela more than once.

 He wondered why “some of you animals are slandering her.”

 He, however, took to his social media Saturday morning to apologise for the comment.
He wrote: “Naomi Campbell met Nelson Mandela more than once. He hugged her, called her his ‘honourary granddaughter’.

 “She visits Nigeria for a fashion festival and meets President @MBuhari, and some of you animals are slandering her. YOU’RE RAVING MAD WITH NOBODY TO TELL YOU.

 “Synonyms for ‘animal’ include brute, beast, monster, savage, devil, demon, fiend, villain, barbarian, ogre, according to the Oxford Dictionary.”

 Following lashes from Nigerians, he added on Saturday morning, “I’d like to clarify. I would NEVER describe/think of Nigerians, or those who disagree with me, as ‘animals’.
“My comment specific to those who thought it appropriate to denigrate/“slander” Naomi Campbell.

 “Tweet should have been worded clearer & less provocatively. Lesson learnt.”

Suswam rains SUVs on Benue Governor-Elect, others

  Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam, has donated eight brand new Toyota Prado SUVs to the Governor-Elect, Chief Samuel Ortom; his wife; the Deputy Governor-Elect, Benson Abounu, and his wife, as part of measures to ensure peaceful transition arrangement. Senate Indicts Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Over Loss of N1.6tr Revenue

Nigeria's imediate past minister of Finance ,Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been indicted by the Nigerian senate over a N1.7t loss in revenue. According to the Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Alleged Misuse, Under-Remittance and Other Fraudulent Activities, revenue agencies short-changed the Federal Government to the tune of N1.7tn as unremitted revenue generated between 2012 and 2016. The panel blamed it on a memo by a former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who allegedly issued the memo to the agencies to remit 25 per cent of revenue they generated to the Federal Government and spend 75 per cent on their expenditures. An interim report by the committee chaired by Senator Olamilekan Adeola, details this. The panel said the amount to be remitted to the Federal Government during the period by 93 agencies it investigated was N21.5tn. It alleged that 25 of the 93 agencies covered defrauded the government of a total of N1,695,585,887,406.
